Črni vrh, the highest point of the popular Cerkno ski centre, is located north-east of Novaky. From the summit, near which an artificial lake has been created, there is a beautiful view over western Slovenia, where you can see most of the Julian Mountains (the Lower Bohinj Mountains stand out) and in front of them the Porezen, and in good weather you can also see the Kamniško Savinjske Alps. Of course, there are also peaks such as Ratitovec, Blegoš, Golaki...
