Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Koper we go to the exit Postojna and follow a road ahead in the direction of Reka and Ilirska Bistrica. In Ilirska Bistrica the road towards Sviščaki branches off sharply to the left. We continue driving towards Sviščaki approximately 4.5 km and park by the cross. It is located just before the quarry.
Route description:
From the starting point, we continue on a cart track which is opposite the cross. The path ascends somewhat more steeply and we reach a crossroad, where a parallel path from the same starting point joins from the left. We continue straight, as also indicated by the sign. The cart track ascends unevenly all the way to the junction with the marked path from Črne njive. A bit higher, marked path but without blazes from the village Jasen joins from the right side. Here we continue straight as well and then we follow a little steeper path to a nearby peak Ahac, which we reach after 5 minutes of additional walking.
