Zreče (Terme Zreče) - Golek

Access to starting point:
We leave the Štajerska motorway at the exit for Slovenske Konjice, and then we follow the signs for Zreče. When we arrive in Zreče, we park on the parking lot at the Terme Zreče spa.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road which continues towards the north, and soon we arrive at a marked junction, where a marked path branches off to the right towards Gorenje and Rogla, and we continue straight on the road or sidewalk. The road on which we walk gradually turns towards the northwest in a gentle ascent; after approximately 15 minutes at the chapel we go left onto a side road, along which after a few steps we notice the first signs for Golek.
At the signs we go right, passing a few houses; at the next chapel the path splits.
We continue straight in the direction of the tourist farm Ančka and the summit Golek (right Golek via Bork).
A little further the settlement ends, and the path ahead leads us along the pasture. At the first junction we go straight, at the second before the quarry we go right towards the summit Golek on a macadam path (straight TK Ančka). The macadam road quickly takes us into the forest, where the path splits again.
This time too we continue straight (right steep path) and continue the ascent on the macadam road, which rises above the nearby stream. Higher we arrive at a pasture, where the path leading past TK Ančka joins us; before the cross we continue sharply right on a marked footpath which ascends diagonally through the forest. A little further we return to the road and follow it to the right to the nearby enclosure. Before the enclosure we go right and continue the ascent on the marked path, which higher leads along the edge of the hay meadow, from which a beautiful view opens towards Donačka gora, Boč and Konjiška gora. Here the path goes right into the forest, and after a few minutes of further walking brings us to the road, where the path via Bork joins from the right.
We continue straight towards Golek, first still ascending through the forest; when we step to the edge of the hay meadow the path brings us to a shelter with benches and tables, which is located only a little below the summit. We continue along the edge of the forest, where the steep path also joins from the right, and in one minute of further walking we reach the summit Golek.
