Route description:
After a short tour of the Žička kartuzija complex we head right uphill, following signposts for Slovenske Konjice, Stolpnik and Tri križi. In the first part there is a forest path, in the central part there are meadows, pastures, fields, homesteads and holiday cottages along a partly asphalted and macadam connection. There are quite a few views. At the junction Trije križi we turn left, right to Skala, and soon reach Tri križi.
At Tri križi we continue left to Stolpnik and after roughly a hundred meters we turn right in the direction of Krniški rob and along a varied forest road we reach Grofov štant.
From Grofov štant uphill on a forest path we reach the summit Stolpnik with a lookout tower.
Along the route: Trije križi (727m), Krniški rob (807m), Grofov štant (802m)
The trip can be extended to the following destinations: Stolpnik

Last Saturday to Konjiška gora, a bit along the marked trail, some off-trail to some peaks that are not so well-known. It was super. Description+photos Best regards! Tone

The logging trail you wrote about in the blog was in use about two years ago... Yes, it really drops steeply towards Treh križev and last year my colleague and I did the descent along that trail while the ascent to Plešivec is along the trail from the direction of Krniški rob, which is "cut in" less directly... Another interesting fact... Plešivec is also in the Boča hill range and the somewhat more southern Rudnice and that's why it interested me and my colleague and I did the ascent. Regarding overgrowth, nature also has a lot of self-regeneration power and if the trails are properly made they quickly blend back into the environment and can wait decades for reactivation - "inward wedging" of logs. On Saturday 10.10. the mentioned trail was hiked in quite nice weather. The trail is quite interesting even though it runs quite a bit on the road. On the way back I chose the direction via Kamne gore. VIDEO Best! Tone
