Access to starting point:
A) From the Maribor - Ljubljana motorway, take the Tepanje exit and follow the road ahead towards Draži vasi and Žičam. In Žičah, turn right in the direction of Špitalič and Žička kartuzija. Beside the kartuzija, there are enough parking spaces available for safe parking.
B) From Frankolovo through Črešnjic and the settlement Sojek to Žička kartuzija
c) From Poljčan through Loč, Žič and Špitalič to the kartuzija.
Route description:
After a short tour of the Žička kartuzija complex, we head right uphill into the hill, with signposts for Slovenske Konjice, Stolpnik and Tri križe. In the first part there is a forest path, in the central part there are meadows, pastures, fields, homesteads and holiday cottages along a partly asphalted and macadam connection. There are quite a few views. After the right turn-off for Skala, we follow the forest road and a little higher turn right downhill onto a diverse forest path. During a pleasant walk in a dense forest we reach Skala.

The path is very pleasant, well marked. In March despite the glaze ice it was very well cleared. Lots of ramsons and bear's garlic. Wonderful view.

Probably I'm the dummy, because I got off path once (markings on apple trees in the middle of fenced pasture - poorly visible), just before the goal in the middle of nettles the markings disappear, didn't find the goal (dusk was falling so I didn't try too hard), walked at moderate pace 1 hour 30 minutes (almost 1x more than stated here). I'll have to check again what went wrong.

The marking of the path on this section is certainly excellent. After the February ice storm I haven't walked between the Trije križi junction and Skala yet, but the path is orientationally undemanding. There are plenty of markers. The path is also just right trodden to follow comfortably. No erosion. Time-wise it's spot on. In picture 2 the timetable is 1 hour and 45 minutes, otherwise via Trije križi to Slovenske Konjice, via Skala a few minutes presumably more. The distance of the described path is about 3500 meters and about 450 meters of ascent. For Konjiška gora I have already written several times
 and once again... the paths are model-marked. If you stray you are not lost, think a little and you quickly miss something. Safe and bold steps in the future too. Best regards/LP.

Yesterday I went along this path once again. Reached the goal, 1:30 hours of moderate walking. Unfortunately the view of Konjice was foggy.
