Zgornji Goreljek - Planina Zajamniki

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana-Jesenice highway, take the Lesce exit and follow the road towards Bled; there, at the traffic-light intersection, signs for Pokljuka direct us to the right. We follow this road, which in the lower part runs through some villages and later starts to ascend more steeply, in the direction of the Šport Hotel on Pokljuka. At the intersection in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, we continue slightly left and proceed driving towards the mountain pasture Goreljek and the ski lift Jelka, which is situated by the eponymous inn. We park on the arranged parking lot by the information boards (the parking lot on the right side of the road is intended for visitors of the ski area).

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road which gently descends towards the lower part of the mountain pasture Goreljek. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, we arrive at the marked crossroads, where we continue right in the direction of the mountain pasture Zajamniki. We continue the ascent on the forest road which quickly enters the forest and further barely noticeably ascends. After some time, the road bypasses the mountain pasture Jelje on the right side, a little further on we arrive at the place where the path to Javorov vrh branches off to the right. We continue on the road which continues with some shorter gentle ascents and descents, and this one leads us further north of the nearby mountain pasture Konjska dolina.
On the other side of the mountain pasture, the road turns left and then leads us towards the south. A few minutes further, the road turns towards the west and brings us to the huts Na Pečeh. For a short time we walk along a small valley, then we arrive at the slopes of Rušov vrh (1460 m).
Here we need to pay attention, as soon a path (cart track) will branch off to the left, by which we descend to the mountain pasture Zajamniki. Somewhere in the middle of the mountain pasture there is a cheese dairy, where during the grazing season we can buy some dairy product.
