Access to starting point:
Drive to Veržej, then follow the signs for Krapje. When we arrive in the settlement Zgornje Krapje, the described path starts at the bus stop. There are no arranged parking spaces at the starting point.
Route description:
From the bus stop, we head onto a side road towards the island of love, walking between houses, at the Krapje fire station, where there is also a memorial plaque in memory of Josip Karbi, we go left.
We also pass a few more houses, the road soon turns slightly to the right and takes us past the last houses to a crossroads at the edge of the forest, from where we continue straight into the forest. There follows some walking through the forest, when the forest near Gramoznica Krapje thins out, we go left from the crossroads towards the island of love.
The path further leads us over a small bridge, then the path branches again.
Here we choose the right path, which brings us to Gramoznica Krapje in a few steps.
