Access to starting point:
From Kranjska Gora over the Vršič mountain pass we drive towards Bovec. Only a few 100m after the 49th hairpin turn we will notice by the road a smaller parking lot, where we park (near the parking lot there are tourist signs for Mlinarica).
From Bovec, we drive towards Kranjska Gora. Between the 50th and 49th hairpin turns we will notice a parking lot by the road, where we park (the parking lot is located near the 49th hairpin turn).
Route description:
From the parking lot, we head onto the marked tourist path, which first slightly descends, then crosses a hanging bridge over the river Soča. On the other side of the river we continue on the path which starts slightly ascending and in a few minutes brings us to the entrance into the Mlinarica gorges.
The passage right to the gorges is forbidden because of falling stones.

I'm interested how long these gorges are and how far one can get... probably no path, water everywhere, what's the depth.. etc... thanks for more info...

I don't know what you mean by there being no path. But the path runs nicely along the water all the way to the end. There it's forbidden to go further, but you can see very nice gorges and like a waterfall. Nice to see. lp

Thanks. At the opportunity I'll go check it out - last I heard the path is possible only to the entrance of the gorges, further not....tnx. lpm.
