Zavrate - Hunting lodge Govce (easier path)

Access to starting point:
a) We drive into Hrastnik, and then follow the signs for Celje. After the settlement Marno, at the border between the settlements Brdce and Brezno, we turn left towards the settlements Trnovo and Sedraž, then continue following the signs for the settlement Brezno. When the settlement Brezno ends, we continue the ascent to the saddle Zavrate, where we park near the log cabin Brunarica pri knapu pod Babo.
b) From the road Zidani Most - Celje, in the settlement Rimske Toplice, we turn left towards Hrastnik (from the direction of Celje, right). We drive towards Hrastnik to the crossroad at the end of the municipality Laško, where we turn right towards the settlements Trnovo and Sedraž, then continue following the signs for the settlement Brezno. When the settlement Brezno ends, we continue the ascent to the saddle Zavrate, where we park near the log cabin Brunarica pri knapu pod Babo.
c) We drive to Celje, then follow the signs for Laško and Zidani Most. In the settlement Laško, from the traffic light crossroad by the Petrol gas station, we turn right towards Rečica. Further, we drive through the valley Rečica. At the end of the settlement Zgornja Rečica, the road turns left and then ascends to the saddle Zavrate, where we park at a suitable place near the log cabin Brunarica pri knapu pod Babo.

Route description:
From the saddle Zavrate we head on the path towards Gore, and we start descending on an asphalt road towards the settlement Brezno. When we arrive in Brezno, a path branches off to the right towards Hrastnik - the path SREČNO, but we continue past a few more houses. A little lower, near the chapel, we turn left towards Laško and continue on the path SREČNO. We bypass the nearby farm on the right side, and the road then becomes a macadam road, moderately ascending for some time, initially through the forest and then along the edge of a scenic meadow, from which, when looking back, a beautiful view opens up towards the path to Kum, the highest summit of the Posavsko hribovje. When we reach higher into a strip of forest, the path flattens, and from the left, a slightly more challenging and a few minutes shorter path joins us.
We continue straight, proceeding briefly through the forest, and when we leave the forest, we turn left at the crossroad (straight ahead is the mining museum). Next follows a short diagonal ascent on a poorer road; from the crossing at the forest's edge, we turn right (sharply left Govško brdo), then follow the road across a meadow to the nearby hunting lodge.
