Založe (Hotunjščica) - Sevčnik (Andraška pot (pri Vodostečni))

Access to starting point:
From highway A1 (Ljubljana - Celje) we take the exit Šempeter and head onto the main road (from LJ at the exit we turn left, from CE right). We follow the road to Polzela. We drive through the settlement and at the agricultural supply we continue on the priority road. At the next crossroad we turn right in the direction of Velenje. For the next few kilometers we drive through Založe. At the end of the settlement we park somewhere by the stream Hotunjščica. There we notice a logbook box with a stamp of Vodostečna and a mountain signpost for the Andraška mountain trail.

Route description:
First, we cross the main road, where on the left side on the fence we notice a blaze. Be careful how we walk by the road, because a lot of trucks pass by here. The road leads us from the settlement Založe, and after a good kilometer and a half of walking we get to a bus stop at the settlement Andraž nad Polzelo. From here ahead on the road there are no blazes. We continue walking straight. Soon on the left we notice an abandoned ski jump. Then we walk all the way to the crossroad for Sevčnik and Podsevčnik. Here we turn right into the village. We follow the road past houses, farms, chapels and forest to a bigger crossroad, where we turn left onto the road next to which there is a STOP sign. The road ascends higher and at the next crossroad we go straight on the upper road. After a few minutes of walking we can already see the peak on the right, and on the left there is the water catchment Sevčnik. Past the last houses we ascend on the road to a cross, where macadam starts. We follow the upper, right path. Soon we get to a marked path and to signposts for the Andraška pot. We turn right and after a few meters we reach the peak of Sevčnik.
