Waldrast - Koralpenhaus (Koralpe)

Access to starting point:
From Dravograd over the border crossing Vič we drive to St. Andre. We follow the road ahead to the town Wolfsberg, where signs for Koralpe point us to the right. Further, we drive through St. Stefan, Maildorf and Rieding to a large parking lot at the ski center Koralpe.

Route description:
At the end of the parking lot, signs for Koralpenhaus point us to a footpath which ascends along the left edge of the ski slope (while the ski slope operates, the passage is forbidden). A moderately steep path, after a few minutes of ascent, brings us to an unmarked trail junction, where we continue along the left gentle track. The path, which then for some time runs along the ski slope, brings us higher to an asphalt road. Here we continue the ascent to the right along the ascending road, which with increasingly beautiful views quickly brings us to the mountain hut.
