Vitlenica - Veliki Vilinac (Vitlenica - Vilinac)

Access to starting point:
From the town of Jablanica, drive to the settlement of Risovac. Before the settlement, turn left onto the gravel road leading to the monument to Croatian defenders. The gravel road is freshly graded with new fill and has no major potholes (August 2021). Approximately 2.5 km before the monument, in a left bend, a hiking trail to the right for Vilinac (3h) and Hajdučka vrata (4h) is marked with signs. There is space for 3 or 4 cars, otherwise park along the road. No crowds, but there are forestry workers, so make sure to leave them enough space and not block any skid trails.

Route description:
The trail first goes for about half an hour through the forest, then the vegetation thins and we walk through some screes until after approximately 2:30 hours we reach a signposted junction for Vilinac, Hajdučka vrata (1h) and Vilinac hut (5 - 10 min). Here we take the right path to Vilinac and after a good half hour we are at the top.
The tour can be extended to Hajdučka vrata and Crvenjak lake, which are definitely worth seeing.
The trail is entirely well marked with Knafelc markers and others.
