Access to starting point:
From Ljubljana, we drive towards Kočevje (or vice versa). Only a little before Turjak (from Ljubljana side) the road branches off to the left to Veliki Ločnik, marked. Soon the road brings us to a crossroad, where we turn right in the direction of Veliki Ločnik and only a little further we park on a smaller parking lot by the road.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the asphalt road ahead, which after a few minutes brings us to the village. In the middle of the village we come to a crossroad, where we continue on the right road. A little further, the road ends, and we continue on the right side of a smaller cross, which stands by the path. The path then goes into the forest and ascends on a wide path which has a few crossings. But because the path is marked we can without problems choose the right path. This path which is moderately ascending through the forest we follow all the way to the top, where a beautiful view opens up.

Pleasant short trip, also in winter.
Nice path also from Mali Ločnik, or directly from the main road along the unmarked trail through the forest (just under an hour to the top). Best regards Lj

We also did a nice walk on Sunday from the starting point at the main road towards the summit of Sv. Ahac. The path is well trodden, marked and very suitable for families with small children. LP Andrej
