Access to starting point:
We drive to Rogašovci, and then we continue driving in the direction of Kuzma. When we get to Sotina, we turn left in the direction of the settlement Strgarjevo / Kalch. After crossing the national border, we go right, and then we drive to the settlement Žabnica / Krottendorf bei Neuhaus am Klausenbach. After the road sign marking the end of the mentioned settlement, we go right in the direction of the settlement Bonasna / Bonisdorf. Immediately after leaving the main road, the road splits again, and we park at the parking lot by the tennis court.
Route description:
We bypass the tennis court on the right road and start the path on the asphalt road, which first gently and then moderately ascends between fields. There follows a few minutes of moderate ascent and we reach the settlement Bonasna / Bonisdorf, where from the crossroad at the fire station we continue right.
Past some houses we initially descend, at the road sign marking the end of the settlement Bonasna / Bonisdorf we go right following the signs for Stadelberg.
There follows a steep ascent on the asphalt road, which leads us past individual houses, with increasingly beautiful views opening up, extending far towards the north and east. Higher up, the road turns sharply left; at the point where it curves back to the right, we notice the established viewpoint Stadelberg straight ahead.
We continue right, and a little higher, turn right again towards the lookout tower. The path ahead leads us past the highest point of the indistinct peak Stadelberg, where a private house stands, and the asphalt road ends behind the house. A little further, we cross the national border; after that, from the crossroad at the fence made of skis, we continue straight and walk to the lookout tower on Sotinski breg, or Kugla.
