Access to starting point:
From Tolmin, there is a 12 km long drive to Tolminske Ravne. From the center of Tolmin, we head towards Žabče. In this settlement, we turn right among houses and above the village continue driving towards Tolminske Ravne. After some time, we descend into the valley, where we cross a bridge and continue uphill towards Ravne. When we get to the village, we turn right onto a smaller parking lot. The road is completely asphalted, but in some parts narrow and with sharp turns.
Route description:
From the parking lot, a path leads us onto a meadow, past the sign for TNP. At the end of the meadow there is the gate of the pasture; behind it, a signpost leads us along the path left uphill to Planina Kal and Migovec. From there continues an easy, poorly marked path, but at the junctions well-marked with signposts. We come to a junction for Planina Razor and Planina Kal (also Krn). Again we turn left and continue on more or less flat terrain, until we get to a signpost which leads us on a steeper forest path, this time well-marked. When we come to a clearing, we come to a crossroads, where we continue right uphill. This crossroads needs to be well remembered, because on the way back it is poorly marked. After a few minutes we already see Planina Kal and Migovec above it.
The path is very easy.
From Planina Kal we can continue to Planina Razor and from there back to Tolminske Ravne. This circular path takes 4 hours, suitable for beginners.

This time from Čadrg. Nice path, especially if you miss the end of the village and climb the ridge, which also leads to Rešljeva planina. The views were even better. Further on, small crampons were very useful. The slope of the terrain and the path buried in snow in numerous gullies did not allow the use of snowshoes, but there was quite a bit of postholing. https://plus.google.com/photos/113334581701584163856/albums/5840274686459958561

Tulipan or anyone (surely Miri would know) asking if the path from Čadrg to planina na Kalu is marked and how much time it takes for such an undertaking. Thanks.

In Čadrg there is a marked turn-off for pl. Kal. Whether it's marked, I don't know, I think yes, no major orientation problems. Good luck
