Access to starting point:
From Celovška cesta in Ljubljana, we drive to a large paid parking lot near Tivoli Park.
Route description:
First, we walk to the end of the parking lots where we then continue on the asphalt path, which runs parallel to the railway and the cycling path. We follow this path to Jakopič Promenade, which is also used as a permanent exhibition space. On the mentioned promenade, we continue towards Tivoli Castle, which we then bypass on the left side. Already a few meters behind the castle, we come to a crossroad, where we continue straight on the ascending road to which a red hiking signpost also directs us. After a few minutes' walk, the road turns sharply right and then flattens somewhat. Higher up, the road brings us to a crossroad where we cross the trim trail. To the left, just a few dozen meters from the crossroad, is Tivolski vrh, on which fitness equipment is installed. We continue on the macadam road, which then brings us to a crossroad of several roads.
We continue on the leftmost road, which after a short ascent starts descending and quickly brings us to the next crossroad at the monument to the fallen in the war for Slovenia. Here we continue sharply right on the ascending road, which after a good 5 minutes of further walking brings us to the top of Šišenski hrib, which is the highest peak of Rožnik.

Along the route: Grad Tivoli (315m)

golobm, if you're going to explore any GPS routes to Rožnik from Mostec (along the road past the ski jump/ through the roots/ up the stairs past the ski jump), I HIGHLY recommend it
