Sveti Peter - Pusti Peter

Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Črnomelj, and then we continue driving towards Dragatuš and Vinica. Just a little after Dragatuš, we will notice road signs for the village Zapudje, which direct us to the right onto a narrower road that continues between the fields. Further on, the road ascends more steeply and brings us to a smaller intersection, where we continue right towards a few houses. At the houses, the asphalt ends, and we continue on the macadam road, along which we quickly arrive at the little church of St. Peter, next to which we park in a suitable place.

Route description:
From the church, we continue on a slightly worse macadam road, on which we soon arrive at a clearing, where there is a vineyard and next to it a vineyard cottage. Here the path returns into the forest, and we pay attention to the left branch-off (the path branches off from the road to the left only a few meters before the nearby holiday cottage). We continue on the forest path, along which we notice GUP signs (forest educational path), which we follow to the nearby ruins of the former little church, in the middle of which stands a cross with Jesus Christ and on the lower part of the cross also the keys of St. Peter.
