Sveti Jurij - Mineral water spring Nuskova

Access to starting point:
We drive to the settlement Cankova (from Gederovci or from Gornja Radgona through Austria), and then we follow the signs for Kuzma. When we reach the settlement Sveti Jurij, immediately after the road sign marking the start of the settlement, we turn right onto a larger parking lot by the cemetery.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we walk to the main road and carefully cross it. We continue on a local road that leads northwest. After the nearby house, the road turns slightly left and crosses the river Ledava via a bridge. Immediately after the bridge, we leave the road, as blazes guide us right onto a gravel path that runs along the right bank of the river Ledava. We continue along the river, where the path partly skirts the edges of fields and partly passes through the forest. While walking, beautiful views open up mainly on the left side, while on the right, a strip of forest along the river Ledava often obscures the view, though occasional glimpses toward the church of St. Jurij appear. A little further, we cross an asphalt road, where we join the learning path "The Path of the Little Owl and the Hermit".
From here, we continue along the river, passing by a "station" of the learning trail. When we reach an asphalt road at the measuring point of the automatic hydrological station Ledava Nuskova, we turn left, then shortly after, right onto a large gravel parking lot, from which a footpath leads over a small bridge, bringing us to a mineral water spring in just a minute of additional walking.
