Access to starting point:
From the road Murska Sobota - Moravske Toplice, in the settlement Martjanci we turn left in the direction of Krncev (from the direction Moravske Toplice we turn right). Further, we drive to the settlement Sebeborci, where we turn left towards Ivanovci and in the direction of the home of spirituality Kančevci. We further follow the signs for the home of spirituality Kančevci, where we park on a large parking lot at the home of spirituality and the church of St. Benedict.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road which from the top starts descending towards the southeast. At first, we are descending with nice views, which in good visibility reach all the way to the eastern Karawanks, and when we get to the forest we go from the road slightly left in the direction of Pomurje mountain trail (straight - Moravske Toplice). For a short time, we walk through the forest and then we carefully cross another road and we continue on the macadam road, by which blazes continue. The road soon returns into the forest, and we go from there left on a marked path, which lightly ascends, and then it returns on the road which we follow to the left. The path ahead continues between the field on the left and the forest on the right, and then we for some time pass into the forest. When we leave the forest in a few minutes we reach an asphalt road which we follow straight (right - hamlet Gospodov Breg). On the asphalt road, we walk to the next crossroad, from which we continue straight on a marked forest road which then changes into a cart track which without large changes in altitude leads through the forest. A few minutes we walk through the forest and then we reach a macadam road, where the marked path towards Selo turns right downwards and leads further through a bigger orchard, and we continue left and in a few steps we get to Makotrov breg, where there is an information board of a learning trail and a few steps aside also benches and a table.
