Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we take the exit Lesce and follow the road in the direction of Bled, there at the traffic-light crossroads signs for Pokljuka direct us to the right. This road, which in the lower part runs through some villages and later starts to ascend more steeply, we follow to Mrzli Studenec (mountain pasture, which is located more than 50 meters behind the crossroads, where the road to Bohinj branches off to the left downwards). In the middle of the mentioned mountain pasture, the road which leads to Medvedova konta, Pri Rupah and mountain pasture Javornik branches off to the right from the main road. Here we turn right and follow the road to the next crossroads, where we continue right in the direction of Medvedova konta (straight ahead to mountain pasture Javornik). The road ahead after a shorter ascent descends and brings us to the next crossroads, where we continue perpendicularly to the left. Then at the first right branch-off we turn right. Soon another road branches off sharply to the right, here we go straight and just about 100m after that at the crossroads sharply to the right. Now we drive approximately 3km to the first turn-off to the left. Here we turn left and drive to the parking lot, where signs direct us to mountain pasture Klek. We park on a smaller parking lot by the road.
Route description:
Near the parking lot, we notice signs for mountain pasture Klek. We go on a wide footpath which after a few minutes brings us out of the forest onto a vast mountain pasture, where there are some shepherd huts.
The trip can be extended to the following destinations: Debela peč

Today we drove to Planina Klek. The path is long, cumbersome, partly snowy and unmarked. Completely unsuitable for a trip. I do not recommend.

@Misolovka: Every eye has its own painter. But the path may be interesting for some other excursionist, because on it and beside it one notices many beautiful things. And some of us really like unmarked paths...

Misolovka hello, I know why you didn't like it, because you drove. Otherwise take it on foot from Mrzli Studenec. The pleasant resinous smell will hint that you are walking among Pokljuka beauties. LP

There was no time to hike up, anyway the path is described as drivable by car. For a first-timer it's complete nonsense that it's not marked and written that you shouldn't drive there. Barpka, even hiking such a long forest road doesn't require a special painter to tell you it's a waste of time. I hiked to Planina Zajamniki on a forest path 6km and I tell you, such a path is psychologically harder than any path to Triglav. Unfortunately, I don't see the point of building a road to every clearing in our beautiful hills (doesn't matter what kind, even if not worth a dime, just to get there). Not everywhere do we need roads. No offense, but I write so people know what awaits them. Best, Sara http://saramisolovka.blogspot.com/2011/11/megleni-bled.html
