Stara Fužina - Koča na Vojah

Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Lesce and follow the road towards Bled and further towards Bohinjska Bistrica. We continue driving towards Lake Bohinj (Ribčev laz), where we come to the crossroads, where we continue right in the direction of Stara Fužina. In Stara Fužina at the crossroads at the chapel, we turn sharply left on an ascending road in the direction of the mountain pasture Blato, mountain pasture Vogar and valley Voje. The road ahead brings us to the spot where a road toll is collected, and we park here on an organized paid parking lot.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue right in the direction of the Korita Mostnice gorge on a wide path, on which in a few minutes we arrive at Hudičev most, from which we can already catch the first glimpse into the gorges. At the bridge, we step onto a poorer road, which we follow to the left, but we walk on it only for a short time, as the signs for the gorges then direct us right onto a nicely arranged tourist path. The path ahead soon brings us to the central gorges, alongside which we then gently ascend. During the ascent alongside the gorges, we come across signs "Slonček" (a rock that water has carved into the shape of an elephant - worth seeing). The path ahead ascends alongside Mostnica for some time longer, then turns slightly to the left, after a few minutes of further walking bringing us to a forest road that leads towards the upper end of the Voje valley. We follow the road to the right, which past the NOB monument quickly brings us to the mountain hut Koča na Vojah.
