Access to starting point:
We drive to Murska Sobota, and then we follow the signs for Hodoš. In the settlement Gornji Petrovci we turn right towards Križevci, in Križevci at the bus stop we turn left in the direction of Vidrin Center Aqualutra and also at the next crossroads we follow the signs for Aqualutra. Still before we get to Vidrin Center we park on the well-maintained parking lot at the sports center - ŠD NK Križevci.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we return some 10 meters back to a slightly wider road, and then we continue right, before the bridge over the stream Mala Krka we go left on a cart track. We continue on the cart track which leads us between the fields on the left side and Mala Krka on the right side, and while walking we go past two hunting observation posts. When we reach the macadam road, we only cross it and in a few steps we ascend to the embankment of the lake Križevci.
