Ski hotel Vogel - Planina Zadnji Vogel

Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Jesenice, we take the Lesce exit and follow the road towards Bled and further towards Bohinjska Bistrica. We continue driving towards Bohinj Lake (Ribčev laz), where we come to an intersection, where we continue straight along the left (southern) side of the lake in the direction of Ukanc and Savica Waterfall. We follow this road to the lower station of the cable car to Vogel, then buy a ticket and take the cable car to the upper station, which is the starting point for our tour.

Route description:
From the upper station of the cable car on Vogel we continue right on the road which bypasses the mountain hut Merjasec on the west side. We continue the path in a gentle descent in the direction of Komna and Vogel, as the wide macadam road leads us to a marked junction. Here we continue right steeply downhill in the direction of Komna and mountain pasture Zadnji Vogel. For some time we descend relatively steeply along the ski slope, then at the path fork we continue left towards the mountain pasture Zadnji Vogel (right downhill to Ukanc). The path soon flattens out completely and leads us to the cheese dairy on the already mentioned mountain pasture.
