Škalske Cirkovce - Lubela (by road)

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Maribor highway, take the Žalec exit, then continue driving towards Velenje. At the main roundabout (2nd roundabout) in Velenje, below the ski jump, continue straight (2nd exit) towards Šoštanj - Mozirje. Then at the traffic-light intersection, turn right. Drive straight ahead over the railway track, uphill to the next roundabout. Take the 3rd exit towards the town stadium. The next roundabout follows, where you take the 1st exit towards Škale - Graška gora. Drive past Škale Lake to the settlement of Škale. A crossroad follows, where you turn right towards Cirkovce. Drive through the settlement of Hrastovec to the turn-off for the Lovski dom Škale hunting lodge, still before the settlement of Škalske Cirkovce. Park at the turn-off or 50 m higher up, on the left by the road.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we start walking in the direction of the Škale hunting lodge. We follow the road. After approximately 1.5 km at the intersection we turn right. At the next junction we again turn right uphill. We follow the road to the holiday cottages. We notice a transmitter, which stands on the highest point of Lubela.
