Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana-Maribor we go to the exit Žalec, and then we continue driving in the direction of Velenje. In the main roundabout (2nd roundabout) in Velenje, below the ski jumping hill, we continue straight (2nd exit) in the direction of Šoštanj - Mozirje. Then at the traffic light crossroad we turn right. We drive straight, over the railway track, uphill to the next roundabout. We choose 3rd exit in the direction of the town stadium. Follows next roundabout, in which we choose 1st exit in the direction of Škale - Graška gora. We drive past Lake Škale to the settlement Škale. We park at the bus stop before the crossroad, which leads left towards Graška gora, and right towards Cirkovce.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we start walking by the road in the direction of Graška gora. When we get to the next bus stop, on the left side of the road, we turn right on a side road. At all next crossroads we continue straight. When the road brings us into the forest, it becomes steeper. When the road brings us to the top of the hill, we leave it and we step on the footpath which in a few dozen meters brings us to the hunting lodge.
At the hunting lodge we continue on the macadam road which leads to a crossroad, where we turn left. At the next crossing, we turn right uphill. We follow the road to holiday cottages. We notice a transmitter, which stands on the highest point of Lubela.
