Selo pri Mirni - Sveti Peter (Selo pri Mirni)

Access to starting point:
A) From the Ljubljana–Obrežje motorway, take the Trebnje west exit, then continue driving towards Mirna. In Mirna, continue left towards Gabrovka and drive along the road to the settlement Selo pri Mirni, or a little further to the first smaller junction, where a poorer macadam road branches off to the right. At the mentioned junction there are signs for the hiking path Speča lepotica and a sign marking the beginning of Litija municipality. Park at a suitable place at the junction.
B) From the Obrežje–Ljubljana motorway, take the Trebnje east exit, then continue driving towards Mirna. In Mirna, continue left towards Gabrovka and drive along the road to the settlement Selo pri Mirni, or a little further to the first smaller junction, where a poorer macadam road branches off to the right. C) From Radeče or Sevnica drive to Mirna, from there continue right towards Gabrovka and drive along the road to the settlement Selo pri Mirni, or a little further to the first smaller junction, where a poorer macadam road branches off to the right. At the mentioned junction there are signs for the hiking path Speča lepotica and a sign marking the beginning of Litija municipality. Park at a suitable place at the junction.
D) First drive to Litija, from there continue towards the settlement Šmartno pri Litiji and further towards Gabrovka and Mirna. At the sign for the end of Litija municipality, a poorer macadam road branches off to the left, next to which there is also a sign for the hiking path Speča lepotica. Park at a suitable place at the junction.

Route description:
From the starting point, we head onto the macadam road, alongside which we notice signs for the hiking path Speča lepotica. The road initially runs between a mesh fence on the left and a meadow, later bushes on the right. When the macadam road or cart track forks, we continue right into the forest, where we also notice blazes along the path. The gradually improving macadam road soon turns to asphalt and veers slightly to the left. A few minutes of walking through the village follow, and on some parts the panoramic road brings us to the church of St. Peter.
