Cesta Bovec - B postaja (Čelo) - Planina Krnica

Access to starting point:
Drive into the centre of Bovec, where from the crossroads by the main square continue along the ascending road, which starts to climb past the post office towards the nearby church. Go around the church on the left and then arrive in Kaninsko vas. Bovec then ends, and the road continues westwards for some time. At a small fork, leave the main asphalt road leading to the village Plužna and continue along the road slightly to the right (after the crossroads marked for the Gozdec road). After the nearby homestead, the road splits again, and this time we take the road slightly to the left (slightly to the right Zavrzelno and the starting point of the route to Rombon). We continue climbing for another 1.2 kilometres along the macadam road, where, in a slight bend, we see yellow signs on the left and right side of the road, marking the mountain trails. Park on the side of the road, the parking area is not marked.

Route description:
From the macadam road, turn onto another macadam road where motor traffic is prohibited. The road climbs slowly and is marked. After 700 m walk, turn sharp left (there is also a signpost there) on the mulatier, then after 800 m continue straight on (the road or mulatier turns right towards mountain pasture Goričica, our direction is again marked with a sign). The road soon turns into a mountain path, and then after 1400 metres of walking, the path turns right uphill (straight ahead B cable car station, 10 minutes). It is important to keep heading towards the mountain sign, because just 50 metres before that there is another badly beaten path uphill. The sign tells us that it will take another 1 hour to get to Planina Krnica. The path ascends gently along an old military mulatier to Planina Krnica.
Unlike the direct route from Station B, this route is not exposed. The route can be rounded by following the road back to the B station of the Kanin cableway and then following the road or the route previously taken to the starting point.
