RC Korant - Ajdovščina nad Ihanom (on cart track)

Access to starting point:
On the Štajerska highway we turn off at the exit Ljubljana-Šentjakob. Immediately after the exit we turn in the direction of Litija. Along Zasavska cesta we drive for approx. 5 minutes, until we reach the roundabout in Dol pri Ljubljani, where we take the 2nd exit. At the first crossroad, we turn left and after approx. 50 meters the road turns left where at the crossroad we turn immediately right. We follow the road approx. 300 meters where a road sign directs us left uphill towards RC Korant. After another approx. 300 meters we arrive at the starting point. We park on a macadam parking lot.

Route description:
From the macadam parking lot at RC Korant we stick to the left side, where we bypass the buildings of the center. The footpath goes between two oak trees, where after a few meters we get to a crossing, where we choose the middle path. The path starts ascending steeper and after a few minutes we reach another crossing, where we again choose the middle cart track. After a few minutes, the steepness decreases and then follows a light descent. The path gets close to the cart track which is coming from the left side. We can choose the left cart track or right footpath. Both after a minute of walking bring us to an indistinct forested peak.
The entire path runs through mixed forest so it is especially appropriate on rainy days or on very hot days.
