Access to starting point:
From Dobrova we drive towards Podutik or vice versa, but only to the road saddle (Preval). Here we turn left (or right, if we come from Podutik) in the direction of Toško Čelo. After a short ascent, the road crosses a larger meadow after which we get to the edge of the forest, where we park on the parking lot on the right side of the road.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we go on a footpath which is gently to moderately ascending parallel with the road. A little higher, the path starts ascending steeper and leads us past numerous crossings. Because there are several paths, we can freely choose which one we will ascend to Toško Čelo on. All the paths are easy and mostly lead through the forest.
During and after the rain paths are wet and slippery, so we can then ascend also on the road.

This is my nearest little hill, which I most often cross with MTB bike and continue towards Katarina, Sv Jakob, descent to Sorein homes. Pleasant paths in case of morning fog, gathering fruits of nature. In winter also a bit more snow than in the valley.jezik

Tomorrow I plan to go to Toško Čelo... I'm interested in how long the path takes if I take Šentvid as starting point (if anyone knows by chance)? Thanks. Best regards, Suzana
Planinček14. 02. 2009
about 1.5 hours.

From Šentvid count on 2 hours, if you dawdle then in a good hour you reach the goal.

Thanks a lot for the info. Today I completed this trip. The ascent took about 1.5h (with two direction mistakes, because there are no markers in the first half of the path). With the useful advice from a passing gentleman to stick to the left direction, the ascent was more than successful... not to mention the sunshine and the view of the snow-covered mountains nasmeh

Does anyone know where to get the stamp for the Path of Couriers and Signallers?
It should be at the Gostilna pri Bitencu, but it's closed.
