Access to starting point:
We drive to Poljane nad Škofjo Loko, from where at the traffic-light crossroads we continue in the direction of the settlement Javorje. When we get to Javorje, from the crossroad after the inn Gostilna Blegoš, we continue left towards Blegoš and Stari vrh, and at the next crossroads we follow the signs for Blegoš. When we get to the saddle Hlevišče, which we recognize by the road which branches off to the left towards the church of the Assumption of Mary on Gora, we park at an appropriate place by the crossroad.
Route description:
From the starting point, we go on the road which from the saddle branches off towards the northeast and starts ascending. We quickly get to a smaller crossroad, where we go left and then in two hairpin turns we ascend to the near homestead, which we bypass on the right side, where we go on a cart track. When the cart track a little higher turns left, we go straight on a grassy cart track, and a little higher we join a wider cart track which brings us out of the forest on a panoramic meadow, from which a nice view opens up on Mladi and Stari vrh. Higher, we go also past the hunting observatory, and then we join the path which starts at POŠ Javorje, and we continue straight into the forest, where the path splits.
Slightly to the left continues the path Med gorami and the path on Koprivnik, and we continue right towards Mladi vrh. The path ahead leads us on a cart track, and at the crossings we follow the blazes, and at the part where the forest for some time ends we join the path Blegoš - Stari vrh, where also Knafelc blazes show up.
We continue straight towards Mladi vrh and we are still ascending through the forest. Higher, the path becomes steeper and brings us on the ridge, where we go right, and then in a few steps we reach the peak of Mladi vrh.
