Polzela - Vinski vrh (Vimperk)

Access to starting point:
We leave the Štajerska highway at the Šempeter exit, then follow the signs for Polzela. When we arrive in Polzela, we turn right and park on a large parking lot by the cemetery.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we return to the main road, then continue through the settlement, where the path leads us past the parish church of St. Marjeta Antiohijska, Polzela Municipality, Tuš store, along the sidewalk by the main road to the right bend, where the road branches off to the left toward Komenda Castle.
From the castle, which in the past was marked by the sovereign Maltese knightly order and which was thoroughly renovated in 2011, we continue along the side road accompanied by blazes. A little further, at the smaller intersection we continue to the right past the nearby building, then return to the main road, which we follow to the left. Along the road we descend slightly, then past the inn and pizzeria AS caffe we continue right onto Pot na Vimperk street 3-16. We continue past individual houses, then the asphalt road begins to ascend noticeably. At the Cizej-Sevšek farm we arrive in the Podvin pri Polzeli settlement, where at the intersection we go right, a little further to the left onto the road where we notice a blaze. Behind the nearby house the road turns into a cart track that ascends diagonally, from it we soon go right onto the steeper footpath, along which we ascend to the church of St. Miklavž on Vimperk or Vinski vrh in a few minutes.
