Podvelka - Hlebov vrh (Rdeči Breg) (via Viltužnik)

The starting point is also accessible by car, which you can leave on the nearby parking lot in front of the Podvelka post office.

Route description:
The starting point is in the settlement Podvelka, below bar Irena, where we can leave the car. We continue past the mentioned bar on a steep road. On the right side, the valley of the stream Veljka accompanies us. After ten minutes of walking, we will cross a macadam forest road for the first time, then a sign directs us right uphill. Through the forest, we follow the blazes and come to stairs that lead to the forest road. We turn right and follow the road until signs direct us left into the forest on a cart track. We continue on the cart track, which brings us to the Viltužnikov travnik meadow, where a view opens up on Kozjak and the Dravska dolina valley. We continue past the "Hochstand" and cross the forest road again, then turn steeply into the forest. While walking, a view opens up on the right towards the village Brezno and Janževski Vrh. After 10 minutes of walking, the steepness ends and we then have another 5 minutes to the church of St. Ignatius. The highest point Hlebov Vrh 913 m is located a stone's throw away from the church.
