Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Luče, then continue driving into the Podvolovjek valley (direction Kamnik and Kranjski Rak). At the road marker between 11 and 11.5 km, we arrive at a smaller intersection, where the road towards the Planinšek farm and mountain pastures Podvežak, Ravne and Vodole branches off to the right (turn-off is marked). We head onto this initially still asphalted road, which we follow at intersections in the direction of mountain pasture Podvežak. After a relatively long and in the upper part also worse gravel road, we arrive at the parking lot below mountain pasture Podvežak (at the starting point there is a barrier and numerous mountain signs).
From Kamnik we drive towards the Črnivec pass, but only to the intersection, where the road towards Kranjski Rak branches off sharply to the left (turn-off is marked and is located only 500 m before the mentioned pass). At the intersection at Kranjski Rak we continue straight on the main road, which starts descending into the Podvolovjek valley. In the mentioned valley we will, only 100 m behind bar Gams, arrive at an intersection, where the road towards the Planinšek farm and mountain pastures Podvežak, Ravne and Vodole branches off to the left (turn-off is marked). Further, we follow the above description.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we head onto the footpath (or road) in the direction of mountain pasture Podvežak. Both the road and the footpath, which during the ascent crosses the forest road, bring us in 15 minutes of moderate ascent to the shepherd's hut on mountain pasture Podvežak, from which a beautiful view opens towards Rogatec and Lepenatka.
From the mountain pasture we continue on the marked but initially poorly visible path, which soon enters the forest. The path through the forest ascends somewhat more steeply, then transitions into a smaller unwooded valley, above which it levels out completely. This is followed by a few minutes of traversing the slopes below the side ridge of Deska, then the path brings us to a less noticeable junction, where an unmarked path branches off to the left towards Deska and Vodotočno Lake. We continue straight on the marked path, which descends into a pleasant grassy plain, then turns somewhat to the right and ascends through a belt of dwarf pines. At the top of the ascent, the path from mountain pasture Vodole joins from the right, we continue left, cross the pasture fence and after a few more steps arrive at Inkretov studenec, which is located just a few meters from the path.
Only a slight ascent follows, then the path levels out again and brings us below the relatively steep and in snow avalanche-prone slopes of Tolsti vrh. A little further ahead, the pleasant path brings us to a signposted junction, where we continue slightly right in the direction of the chapel on Molička peč (slightly left Korošica). The path ahead descends slightly, then continues in a moderate ascent across a series of several smaller valleys. Soon we reach a smaller junction, where to the left a path branches off returning to the marked path towards Korošica, to the right the path towards mountain pasture Ravne and Dolga Trata. We continue straight on the wide and pleasant path, which after a few minutes of further walking brings us to the Prag saddle, where the next junction is.
We continue slightly left (right mountain pasture Ravne and Veliki vrh) on the marked mountain path, which gradually begins to descend. After more than 10 minutes of descent, the path levels out and brings us to a small marsh, behind which we reach the next junction. We continue straight (slightly left Korošica, right Robanov kot) on the pleasant mountain path, along which in a few minutes of further walking we arrive at Kocbekovo zavetišče below Ojstrica. The chapel on Molička planina (peč) is located just a few meters above the mentioned shelter.

Discussion about the trip Planina Podvežak - Chapel on Molička planina (via Prag)

Beautiful little path, but the one from Planina Ravne is a 10.
Gost17. 08. 2006
The first time I went from Podvežak, and I was very impressed. On Sunday, I did the path to Molička from Planina Ravne and I can't find words to say how beautiful that path is. And if you go these days, add a good half hour more, because the blueberries are very tasty.
I got excited about the path from Ravne to Križevnik from there to Molička cliff, then to Velika Zelenica and Veliki vrh and back to Ravne. It looks great. I hope to realize it soon.
To everyone, good luck in the mountains.

What will the weather be like in the morning? We'd go to Ojstrica.... on hribi.net forecast only until Saturday. Do you have any more data? Thanks in advance and enjoy the mountains.
otiv14. 08. 2011
As meteorologists say, sunny in the morning, cloudiness will probably increase during the day with possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Has anyone walked this trail in these days, is it already dry or still snow?
tisa21. 05. 2014
I haven't walked it, but from experience I can say that given the snow conditions in the mountains there is definitely still snow on the trail, not everywhere though. On Kamen, where I was yesterday, which is lower, snow can still be found.

Inkret's spring is no longer there. Does anyone know what happened?
The macadam road to Podvežak is in catastrophic condition.
