Oberort (parkirišče Zeleno jezero) - Jassing Almhütt´n

Access to starting point:
From the border crossing Šentilj, we continue driving on the highway towards Graz and further towards Linz and Salzburg. We soon leave highway A9 and continue driving slightly to the right towards Vienna / Wien, proceeding on expressway S35. Near the settlement Bruck an der Mur, we leave expressway S35 and follow signs for the mentioned settlement. From the nearby roundabout, we take the first exit and follow signs for the town Kapfenberg. Still in the town Bruck an der Mur, at the traffic light intersection, we turn left towards Trägoß and St. Katharein, following tourist signs for Grüner See. After approximately 23 km of driving, we reach the settlement Oberort, where from the intersection in the center of the settlement we turn left and drive a few hundred meters to the marked and arranged parking lot in front of Grüner See.
Price for parking for one day is 6 euros (August 2023).

Route description:
From the parking lot, we return to the asphalt road and continue in the direction of Grüner See. The marked path continues on the asphalt road, slightly to the left a few minutes longer walking path leads. A little further, we reach lake Pfarrerteich, where to the right another walking path branches off, but we continue on the asphalt road. When we reach the strip of forest, the first mentioned walking path joins us from the left, and then we quickly reach the inn Seehof beim Grüner See.
We bypass the inn on the left side, and just a little further we reach the proximity of Grüner See, which we bypass on the left side. Next follows a steeper ascent on the asphalt road, which we follow to the left hairpin turn; at the end of the hairpin turn we go right onto the footpath, which continues on a wide cart track, at a few junctions we follow the blazes or signs for Jassingalm. Higher we reach a smaller pass, behind which we begin to descend, soon we return to the driving road, which we follow to the right. The path ahead bypasses the intermittent lake Pfarrerlacke on the right side, a little further we pass the parking lot or starting point of the path leading to saddle Lamingsattel and further to some surrounding peaks. The easy road leads us further past a few parking lots, and we follow the path in the direction of Jassingalm. In the last section, the road ascends moderately once more and quickly brings us to hut Jassing Almhütt´n.
