Mihov dom na Vršiču - Russian chapel

Access to starting point:
From Kranjska Gora, we drive towards Bovec or vice versa, but only to the mountain hut Mihov dom na Vršiču, where we park (the parking lot is located between the 4th and 5th hairpin turn).

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the asphalt road, and after a few dozen steps it brings us to the mountain hut Mihov dom na Vršiču. The road bypasses the mentioned mountain hut on the left side, and we continue along it to the 8th serpentine (also possible via shortcuts, but these have in recent years become entirely overgrown). Just a few steps beyond the 8th serpentine, we will notice signs for the Russian Chapel, which direct us left onto the ascending stairs. After a short ascent on the mentioned stairs, we will arrive at the Russian Chapel, which is dedicated to the Russian prisoners who also built the Vršič road, now known as Ruska cesta.
