Route description:
From Makarska via Makar and Vrba approx. 4 hours - starts from Kačić Square in Makarska near the old Venetian fountain. Markings lead through the town to the Makar hamlet (40 min) and then along a well-maintained trail initially with longer, then increasingly shorter serpentines to "Vrba" (40 min), where there is a water cistern, currently out of order i.e. without water. From Vrba gently mostly through pine forest to the so-called Kruška (40 min) where one usually takes a short break and enjoys the view. At Kruška there is also a crossroads, so markings lead left (north-west) towards Veliko Brdo and right (south-east) towards Kotišna. From Kruška straight again with serpentines to the pass of Mali Vošac and further to Štrbina (viewpoint). From Štrbina follow markings towards Planinarski dom pod Vošcem then, at the big stone, branch off to the summit itself.
