Leskovec - Kucelj

Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana ring road we head to the exit Sostro or Zalog and follow the road ahead in the direction of Besnica. From Besnica we continue driving towards the village Veliko Trebeljevo, where at the crossroad we continue right in the direction of the village Leskovca. Only a little above the village we come to the next crossroad, where we continue straight (sharply right - Mali vrh) and then follow the road to the next crossroad where we notice signs for Obolno. Here we park on one of the parking lots by the road.
From Višnja Gora we first drive to the village Leskovec and then continue driving in the direction of the village Trebeljevo. When we come to a crossroad, where right downwards the road branches off towards the village Obolno, we park on a parking lot by the road.

Route description:
From the starting point, we continue on the right upper road (if we came to the starting point from Višnja Gora direction we continue in the direction from where we came), which starts slightly ascending. The road then flattens and after approximately 10 minutes of walking, it brings us to an unmarked crossing, where we continue sharply right on a cart track which quickly brings us into a short stretch of forest, where we notice a blaze on the tree. A wide cart track then ascends by the edge of a grassy slope and a little higher turns left into the forest. After a few minutes of walking through the forest, the path passes onto the upper grassy slope and turns right. We continue the ascent on a worse cart track which past the hunting observatory brings us to a spacious and grassy peak.
