Križevska vas - Cicelj (via farm Buven)

Access to starting point:
A) From the highway Ljubljana - Celje we go to the exit Šentjakob and follow the road ahead towards Litija. From the roundabout at Dolsko we drive onto the exit in the direction of the settlement Vinje, and at the next crossroad we go right in the direction of Križevska vas. Next follows approximately 5 km of driving on a somewhat narrower and mostly ascending road, which we follow to the church of the Holy Cross in Križevska vas. We park in an appropriate place near the church.
B) First, we drive to Litija, and then we continue driving towards Ljubljana. When we get to the crossroad at the settlement Senožete, we drive onto the exit in the direction of the mentioned settlement. The road then immediately brings us into the village, where at the crossroad we turn right and drive past the fire station, after which we come to the next crossroad, where we go left. We continue straight and follow the road all the way to Velika vas, where we turn left. Then we drive to Križevska vas, where we park on a smaller parking lot near the church of the Holy Cross.

Route description:
From the church, we continue towards the north on a macadam road which ascends diagonally and after approximately ten minutes of walking brings us to a saddle, where we continue right. Here the road ends and we continue on a gentle footpath which runs through the forest. The path then soon brings us to a cart track on which we then ascend easily. After some time the cart track turns into a footpath which occasionally ascends a bit more steeply. We follow this path, which runs through the forest, to the top on which there is a bench.
