Access to starting point:
We drive to Gederovci (to here from Radenci or Murska Sobota) and continue driving in the direction of Kuzma. Further on, we drive through Cankova, and when we get to the settlement Krašči we turn right in the direction of Ledavsko Lake. The path ahead leads us along the embankment south of the lake; when we leave the embankment we arrive at the parking lot by the information boards, where we park.
Route description:
At the parking lot, signs for Bernardino path point us towards the lake; after some 10 steps we reach it and continue right. The path ahead leads us directly by the lake, from where beautiful views open up on the lake and the surroundings. The path along which there are some information boards brings us a little further to a macadam road, along which the path by the lake continues. The road a little ahead turns right and moves away from the lake, where behind the football field we arrive at an intersection with the asphalt road.
Straight across the road on a side road continues the Bernardino path, but we continue left and keep walking on the gently sloping asphalt road, from which soon to the right branches a road towards Tourist farm Ferencovi. Here we continue straight and move a little further from the lake. The path ahead brings us to the settlement Ropoča, at the intersection a few minutes away we go left. Further on, we walk north of the lake, where first we cross the stream Lukaj, a little further also the river Ledava. When we arrive at the northwestern side of the lake, before the houses we continue left onto the embankment, where a gate prevents motor vehicles from driving. We walk for some time on the embankment, beside the Ropoča polygon we reach the main road Cankova - Rogašovci.
We continue along the left edge of the main road, and when we already arrive in Krašči we go left in the direction of Ledavsko Lake. We continue along the panoramic embankment south of Ledavsko Lake, along which we return to the place where we started the path.
