Koprivna (Kos) - Source of river Meža

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Črna na Koroškem, then follow the signs for Koprivna. At the turn-offs where roads branch off towards Podpeca, Topla, Logarska dolina, at the next crossroads we follow the signs for the source of the Meža. We park at a suitable place before the gate.
B) We drive to Solčava, then follow the signs for Črna na Koroškem. This is followed by an ascent to the Spodnje Sleme pass, from there a descent towards Črna na Koroškem and Koprivna. When we arrive in the valley, at the junction with the road which leads from Koprivna towards Črna na Koroškem, we continue to the left, and at the next crossroads we follow the signs for the source of the Meža. We park at a suitable place before the gate.

Route description:
From the starting point, we continue past the gate and on the road begin gently descending towards the Kos homestead. Still before we reach the mentioned homestead, at the rest area we continue slightly to the left on the path in the direction of the source of the Meža. A few minutes of ascent through the forest follow and the path, which in the last part runs on a steep slope, brings us to the second source of the Meža River.
