Access to starting point:
We leave Gorenjska highway at exit Hrušica and follow the road ahead in the direction of Kranjska Gora. Just a little before the village of Dovje the road which goes to Mojstrana (Vrata, Kot and Krma) branches off to the left. We follow the road ahead in the direction of the Vrata valley and we drive along it to the parking lot near the mountain hut at the Peričnik waterfall.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we head onto the footpath which directs us along the right bank of Peričnik (left side) upwards. The path steeply ascends through the forest and after approximately 10 minutes of walking, it brings us to the vantage point of the lower Peričnik.
From the vantage point at Peričnik, we return a few meters back, and then we follow the signs Peričnik - zgornji slap (upper waterfall). The path ahead is still steeply ascending, even so that at one spot fixed safety gear (stairs, "steel cable") helps us. Only a few meters after that we come to the vantage point of the upper waterfall.

Very beautiful waterfall, especially for children who can go behind the waterfall and get very wet.

We were there on 17.8, I strongly recommend it to families with children (5+). Raincoats with hoods are mandatory, you can walk under both waterfalls. Wonderful, especially in this heat.

Excellent walk. Only at the exit at the top of the stairs with the fixed cable (picture 13. in the description) is a slightly more cautious step needed so you don't slip or dislodge stones on people below. Definitely do not recommend the path to inexperienced people in wet or snow to the upper waterfall.

To both waterfalls from Mojstrana, the path from the hut is renovated, on the steepest sections steps have been made for easier passage, on exposed sections also new railings..the waterfalls are well fed with water, worth a visit and refreshment

Yesterday for refreshing shower from Mojstrana here. Pleasant path along Triglavska Bistrica, hut at Peričnik closed  , drivers can't even pay parking  . Water on both falls now plenty, roars nicely and sprays abundantly. Almost no people, but MICE  Mice every step, from everywhere, along and on path from Mojstrana. Never seen so many in my life...
