Access to starting point:
We drive to the settlement Kalce pri Logatcu, where at the bus stop by the crossroads for Podkraj the described path begins. At the starting point, there aren't any parking spots for hikers.
Route description:
From the bus stop, we head onto a side road towards Podkraj, initially passing individual houses, then beginning to ascend and climbing for a few minutes through the forest. When the road flattens a few minutes later, we turn slightly left before a nearby house onto a macadam road, marked with signs for the viewpoint. On the macadam road, we initially descend slightly and follow the signs for the viewpoint. A few minutes later, the road re-enters the forest and begins to ascend more noticeably, and at several crossroads, we continue to follow the signs for the viewpoint. Higher up, we also cross the route of a high-voltage power line, then turn left at a marked crossroad and arrive at the fortress Lanišče.
