Jezersko polje - Peč (viewpoint)

Access to starting point:
We drive to Bohinjska Bistrica, then continue driving towards Lake Bohinj. When we arrive at the lake in Ribčev Laz, we continue right over the bridge and past the church of St. John the Baptist we drive to the nearby crossroads, where signs for the parking lot direct us to the left. From the crossroads, we drive approximately 300 m further, then park on the parking lot near the lake. The parking lot is paid, and most nearby parking lots are also paid. A designated free parking lot is at the beginning of Ribčev Laz, which extends the path by approximately 15 minutes.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we return to the road which leads towards Stara Fužina, and we continue on the sidewalk to Stara Fužina. At the beginning of the mentioned settlement we notice signs for the climbing area Peč, Rudnica and cycling path, which point us to the right onto the bridge over the river Mostnica. On the other side of the bridge we continue straight, then a few steps ahead, when the cycling path turns right, we continue straight on the footpath in the direction of Peč and Rudnica. The path ahead leads through the forest, and here and there it also leads us past some short viewpoints. When, after a few minutes of ascent, the path flattens, we continue right in the direction of Peč (straight to Rudnica).
There follows a few minutes of crossing to the right and the path brings us to a pleasant viewpoint.
