Access to starting point:
We drive to Tržič, then through the Dovžanova soteska gorge we drive to Jelendol, where at the crossroads below the Puterhof mansion we park in an appropriate place.
Route description:
From the starting point, we head onto the left road in the direction of Dolžanka and mountain pastures Kofce, Šija, Pungrat and Tegošče (straight - Medvodje, mountain pasture Dolga njiva...). The path ahead leads us past the mansion Puterhof, where the path branches off to the left towards the chapel and Mali and Veliki Juhej, and we continue straight, where we go past a few more houses, and then the asphalt ends, and we continue walking by the stream Dolžanka. Higher, we go away from the stream a little to the left, where by the right hairpin turn there are two feeding sites for wild animals, and then for a few minutes we return to the stream. Then we go once again away from the stream and we gradually get closer to the mountain pasture Dolžanka, which we can sense left above the road, and towards the mountain pasture also a few paths branch off. At the last turn-off of the path towards the mentioned mountain pasture, there are also signposts and blazes, and we continue on the road which past a holiday cottage brings us to the left hairpin turn, where we leave the road. On the cart track, we lightly descend to a stream, by which we ascend for a short time, and then the cart track turns right and starts visibly ascending. At the first crossings, we follow a wider cart track, and when it starts turning left we leave it and we continue right on an older cart track which passes on the northwestern slopes of Primožkovi hribi. Here we for some time still walk on a cart track, and higher it changes into old, but still well visible traces of motocross bikes. Before we reach the saddle between the peak Malo Hudo brdo on the left and Primožkovi hribi on the right, we stick slightly to the right, so that we reach the cart track. We follow the cart track to the right, and when it ends we follow a worse footpath which ascends diagonally on the ridge of Primožkovi hribi, where we reach the macadam road.
We follow the road to the right, and at an appropriate place we ascend to the ridge and then in 3 minutes we ascend to the highest point of the ridge, from which we also get some nice views.
