Javorje (Mala Črna) - Dom na Smrekovcu (po cesti)

Access to starting point:
a) Drive to Črna na Koroškem, then follow the signs for Topolščica, Šoštanj and Velenje. After 3 km of driving from the roundabout in the center of Črna na Koroškem, turn right towards Dom na Smrekovcu and Najevske lipe. Park a little further on at a suitable spot by the road, preferably behind the bridge.
b) Drive to Šoštanj, then follow the signs for Črna na Koroškem. There follows a longer fairly winding ascent to the Sleme pass (1082 m), then descend another approximately 9 km. After 9 km turn left towards Dom na Smrekovcu and Najevske lipe. Park a little further on at a suitable spot by the road, preferably behind the bridge.

Route description:
From the starting point, head onto the road marked for Dom na Smrekovcu and Najevska lipa, where we initially walk along a gentle road ascending along Koroška Kramarica. After 15 minutes of walking, arrive at a marked junction by MHE-Navi Ludranski Vrh, continue left towards Dom na Smrekovcu (right Najevska lipa). The path continues along the stream past individual farms, at a few access road junctions follow the sparse markings on this section.
Higher, the slightly wider road turns left towards Lukač farm and beyond, but we go right onto the side road, quickly reaching the Silvester homestead where the road ends.
Bypass the homestead on the lower left side and continue across the meadow (path may be somewhat overgrown here), at the forest edge the path becomes clearer again, briefly still somewhat overgrown. A short transverse ascent through the forest follows and we return to the road that we left lower before the Lukač homestead.
Follow the road right, which soon splits, continue straight between both roads onto the track that steepens. The track has forks higher up, follow markings, arrive at chapel and NOB monument on Kramarica with marked junction.
Continue right towards Dom na Smrekovcu (left Andrejev dom na Slemenu, straight down Sveti Križ, Bele Vode and Šoštanj) and gently towards nearby forest road reached at Kramarica saddle.
Continue ascent on wider road (left down Bele Vode, right Črna na Koroškem), when shortly afterwards we return to dense forest the path splits.
Continue straight towards Dom na Smrekovcu - along the road (right Dom na Smrekovcu via Bukov stan). Further ascend gently for some time on gravel road mostly through forest, then to small junction, continue upper wider road.
From junction follow road few more minutes, then signs for Dom na Smrekovcu lead right onto ascending track, through forest to nearby larger meadow. On meadow continue right ascending to Planinski dom na Smrekovcu.
