Access to starting point:
From Kranjska Gora, we drive towards Vršič pass but only to Jasna, where there is also a designated parking lot (immediately after the end of the bridge over Pišnica, on the right). Here we park.
Route description:
From the parking lot, we turn around and carefully cross the road, which is busy especially in nice months. We head up the asphalt road, following it past all the cottages, and soon we reach the macadam. We walk straight along it without turning left until, in a right-hand bend, we reach a torrent; here we go left beside it and climb onto the visible footpath, helped by a cairn. The path starts to ascend through the spruce forest and in a few minutes we leave the riverbed and turn left through the forest. From here on, the path is continuously steep and gains steepness with altitude. In zigzags we reach the ridge, where there is a pleasant viewpoint. The hunting path higher up becomes even steeper and brings us to a slight clearing in the forest, where we meet the signs of the famous PP path (Planica - Pokljuka path). From here on, the path rises even more steeply, gaining height. The forest gradually turns into dwarf pine scrub with dwarf pines, which adds a little effort to the ascent. The summit, unlike the ascent, offers nice views of the Martuljek mountains.

The trip can be extended to the following destinations: Rigljica

Today 21.8.2023 we were up. Description holds, would just add that now the junction in picture 2 is buried with stones, but the cairn is still there on the left side below. Path matches the map available on the hiking trails website.
