Janževski Vrh (Uran) - Klančnik (Glančnik) (via Brabar and Hudej)

Access to starting point:
From the road Maribor - Dravograd, before the settlement Brezno we turn left (from the direction Dravograd right) in the direction of Podvelka, Ribnica na Pohorju and Ribniške koče. After the bridge over the river Drava we arrive in Podvelka, and we follow the road further in the direction of Ribnica na Pohorju. The road ahead takes us to the settlement Janževski Vrh, and we drive through the valley of the stream Velka to a crossroad at the inn and store Uran, where a road branches off to the left towards Lovrenc and Lehen na Pohorju. We park on a smaller arranged parking lot by the crossroad.

Route description:
From the crossroad, we head onto the left road, along which there are signs for Lovrenc na Pohorju, Ruše and Rdeči Breg as well as a road sign for Lehen na Pohorju (right Janževski Vrh and Ribnica na Pohorju). Immediately after the crossroad, we cross the stream Velka and arrive in the settlement Lehen na Pohorju, where we continue along the stream and past individual houses. When the valley widens a little, we arrive at a smaller crossroad, from which we continue left in the direction of Rdeči Breg, sv. Ignacij and hunting cottage (straight driving road to the settlement Lovrenc na Pohorju). Just a few dozen steps ahead, a usual marked path branches off to the left to the church of sv. Ignacij, but we continue straight on the road, along which we further notice some local signs (signs lead to the settlement Lovrenc na Pohorju). The path ahead leads us through Brabarjev graben, where we first still walk past houses, higher the road enters the forest and starts to ascend more steeply. Higher we reach a smaller crossroad, where we continue sharply left (straight homestead Zgornji Povh) and ascend diagonally to a smaller saddle, where we join the marked path from Lovrenc na Pohorju.
From the saddle, where there is a religious symbol on the right, we continue slightly right from the left road, where we continue on the cart track (we head to the cart track located on the opposite side of the cross).
The path ahead leads us along the cart track, along which the blazes are quite rare; a little further ahead, when we reach a noticeably wider cart track, we continue right (if we continue left, the cart track ends quickly), first slightly downhill, when we approach the road we continue straight and continue further on the cart track. We walk a few steps along the wider cart track, then go slightly left onto a steeper cart track, which soon takes us out of the forest, where we notice signs for the church of sv. Ignacij. We continue through a strip of forest, then arrive at the homestead Brabar, where we again come quite close to the macadam road. We bypass the homestead on the left side, then head slightly right and ascend to the edge of the forest, where the path forks.
We continue along the slightly left cart track, along which there are signs for sv. Ignacij; further on there are a few junctions, where we choose the cart track that ascends, and at a few junctions we can also notice signs or faded blazes. Higher the path becomes increasingly panoramic; at the religious symbol we reach an asphalt road, which we follow to the right (left sv. Ignacij and Hlebov vrh).
Already after a few steps we arrive at the homestead Hudej, which we bypass on the left side and continue along the path in the direction of the hunting cottage Klančnik (also Glančnik). A few minutes of gentle to moderate ascent follow, and the road takes us to the parking lot near the hunting cottage. From the parking lot, after one minute of further walking, we stroll to the hunting cottage Klančnik, from which a nice view opens towards the central part of Pohorje.
From the hunting cottage, we head onto the path in the direction of HE Ožbalt, bypassing the hunting cottage on the left side. A few minutes of panoramic ascent on a grassy slope follow, and we reach the 877 m high peak.
