Hotel Golte - Koča na Treh plotih (path on Golte)

Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Mozirje, where at the roundabout we turn in the direction of "Golte". The road then brings us to the next intersection, where we head slightly left again in the direction of "Golte". Further ahead, the road brings us to an intersection of a one-way road. We turn right into the village Žekovec and the road brings us to the lower cableway station on Golte. Then we buy a ticket and take the cable car to Hotel Golte.

Route description:
From the hotel after a few steps we come to the signposts. We follow the signs for the path "pot po Golteh". We cross a grazing fence and behind it also an artificially made torrent. Further we follow the cart track, which in a few steps brings us to a bad forest road. The road turns slightly right and starts ascending more steeply. A little higher the road makes a long left turn and through a short lane of thin forest brings us to a junction a little before crossing the three-seater chairlift. We continue straight on the lower path, which soon after the cableway turns right again upwards (we can also go right, but in doing so we bypass the monument and the peak Medvedjak). After a few dozen steps of ascent the path brings us to the NOB monument. We continue right and after a short ascent we come to the panoramic peak Medvedjak to which the three-seater chairlift leads. We continue further on the path which runs along a panoramic ridge and starts descending. Soon the path brings us to an artificial lake where the guesthouse Trije ploti stands.
