Grmovškov dom pod Veliko Kopo - Črni vrh

Access to starting point:
We drive to Slovenj Gradec, from where we continue towards the settlement Legen and the ski resort Kope. We further follow the signs for Kope, but we follow the ascending road to a larger parking lot at the ski resort Kope.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we walk past Grmovškov dom pod Veliko Kopo and past other tourist and catering facilities to the saddle Pungart, from where we continue right in the direction of Črni vrh and Ribniška koča (left - Velika Kopa and Koča pod Kremžarjevim vrhom). At first, we ascend along a shorter ski lift, and then we continue on a poorer macadam road, which in a few minutes brings us to a fenced area, where we continue by the wooden fence. A little higher, the road passes to the inner side of the fence, and we continue left by the fence, where the mountain path continues. A little higher we return to the road, which in the meantime has become a wider cart track, and for some time we still ascend by the fence, then the path flattens and leaves the fenced area. On the level section, the path towards Mislinja branches off to the right, and we continue straight and gradually begin to ascend again. A little higher at the crossing we continue straight (slightly left - Ribniška koča - path which bypasses Črni vrh) and on an increasingly panoramic slope in a few minutes we ascend to a viewpoint near the highest peak of Pohorje. From the viewpoint, we continue on a level grassy slope to the nearby peak, by which there is the Škorjanka shelter.
