Gornji Senik / Felsőszölnök - Tromejnik / Dreiländerecke / Harmashatar

Access to starting point:
From the road Kuzma - Gornji Petrovci, at the settlement Martinje, we turn onto the road towards Hungary and continue driving towards the settlement Gornji Senik / Felsőszölnök. There follows some descent and we arrive at the mentioned settlement, where we park on a well-maintained parking lot near the church.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue by the main road, where we go first past the church, kindergarten and store to a marked crossroads, where we go left in the direction of the vantage point at Janezov Breg, and at the culture house we go once again left, this time in the direction of Tromejnik. The path ahead leads us past a smaller fire station, where we go straight, and then we continue on at first still asphalt road which leads us past occasional houses. Further, the asphalt ends, and at a few crossings we follow the signs for Tromejnik. The gentle road which leads us through the valley of the Seniški potok stream gradually becomes worse, and eventually it changes into a cart track which brings us to a crossroads at the entrance into the forest.
Here we again continue left towards Tromejnik, and the path starts gradually ascending through the forest, and during the ascent, we go past a few information boards. Higher up there follows a shorter descent, and then the marked path brings us to the border ridge with Slovenia, where it becomes steep and ascends on numerous stairs. When the stairs end, only a few steps of walking separate us from the top of Tromejnik, which is situated on the border between Slovenia, Austria and Hungary.
